Oh gosh, what to even say about this duo.

Besides one of my favorite groups and one of the bands that I've been wanting to watch Live. Their music is played when I play video games (especially back then when I played Maplestory [ 3 ]) Haha. Their music plays while I am having a very relaxing day or when I try to get in a certain zone, I even recall listening to them when I was coming back from Canada.

Personally, I don't know what to categorize them, and frankly, I don't care past the idea of "techno, 8-bit sounding, hypnotic goodness."

Honestly, there's not too much to say about this band, at least from what I know.
I like their music, I don't think they've sold out and they like what they do.

Euphoric Emotions Compilation.

Well, a few days ago, it occurred to me that I needed to regain my hard drive data somehow, well I thought the best way would be to simply replace a majority of it with new things since the day it was wiped.

One of the major things I did was to replace the music that I had download from the web onto my drive so when I went anywhere, walking or driving, I would simply be able to plug in and listen.

Well, Trance, Dance, House and all that jam has been a favorite of mine ever since I was about in 6th grade all the way till now and possibly until I die, but no need to start predicting my future now. Since I first started listening to "that techno stuff," I've listened to practically a very good overall (or several sets) of genre(s) that I could never really replace with anything else. Preferably, I like listening to songs by ATB or Armin Van Bureen, but The Chemical Brothers or Deadmau5 aren't that bad. :)

Well, enough of that, I downloaded about 10gigs, almost exact of albums from Euphoric Emotions, that contain about 20~30 albums, but I've mostly liked the "2010" special and the Best of Euphoric Volumes. The variety of volumes that have been released can give you a different "mindset," which I guess is something I've done for years.
Depressing music = Mindset of appreciation/understanding/etc
Powerhouse = motivation/tunnel-vision/empowerment
Trance = One mind trance
Feeling This Moment = Well, self explanatory.

Well, the Euphoric Collection of volumes I have now, have all sorts of mindsets that allow you to choose and there you go.
I know one of my favorite albums is "Night life," (or that's how it's labeled for me) and well, it gives me a nice feeling of well, night life. I could simply be driving and have my laptop plugged and things feel in perfect rhythm, which is great. If you have the spare money laying around, that would be a great amount of things to listen to.

Oh and the Euphoric Tracks are composed of several upon several artist, including The Chemical Brothers, Deadmau5, ATB and Bureen. (Probably why I named them without thinking. . . You sneaky subconscious, you)

The Cure

[ Listening to: Boys Don't Cry by The Cure ]

       Oh, what to even say about this band besides... one of my favorites of all time. This is one of the other bands that I grew up with and possibly developed my openness to the world and it's variety of every type of person. Ha ha, I guess it's rather a strange thing to put or word, but The Cure talked about what they felt and what seemed to be one of the "realistic bands" that seemed to actually matter to me in understanding people of different paths in life.

     This was one of the bands that I listened to when I was down or when I had a wonderful new experience, but most importantly, it broadened my view in accepting people better. The thing is that more than a few of their songs are rather ironic, I guess, such as "Boys Don't Cry." That song alone gave me a bit of enlightenment alone; it made me feel like it was actually alright to be depressed as long as it's within reason or that sometimes you aren't supposed to cry even though you do feel slightly bad, same concept goes with everyone, but if by chance you were to cry, it's alright... It gave me... the ability to actually give understanding to whoever need it when times get hard and to not judge anyone when and if that moment were to come.

     One other quick mention of a song from them that's impacted me was the song "Lullaby." That song alone let me see that all people suffer from "simple" things or "common/untalked" issues such as life-altering nightmares, delusions and reoccurring depression. I think "Lullaby" was more of a self impact, I guess, since it helped me through a few moments where I believed that a few issues or delusions/self created depression(s) would be something that only I felt or no one could bring any light to my situation in any ability of "understandment..." over time, I felt some ease when hearing this as if a big amount was taken off my chest and I should just look forward for the day and try my best to enjoy it until fully knowing that "the night" was going to bring the reoccurring depressive issue/nightmares.

  If you have time I would suggest try to temporarily borrow or buy every album, above, then I would suggest to attempt to get a hold of their Greatest hits album and enjoy most tracks, if it's your cup of tea of course. (Greatest Hits contains almost ever favorite song I still listen to, so that would also be easier for people who can't get a hold of every album)

[ Listening to: The Devil And God Are Raging Inside Me (full album) by Brand New ]

       One of my favorite bands of all time, Brand New, has been there for me time after time, a very "emo/depressive" thing to say, but this is one of the few bands that made me able to feel like I wasn't alone when I felt like I truly was.

       Brand New brings the talents of several individuals that gave their life stories or the expressions of what they felt like through their years in the form of songs, which can be said about many bands, but not actually felt by many bands. They talk about their depression, break ups, slight motivation and every day things, one of the other bands I do consider "A Realistic Band."

The Smiths

          Summer songs, rainy day moods or the joyful occasion moments can all be accompanied by The Smiths.

          When I was a child, I would listen to the music my eldest brother would blare out of the music box, or more commonly known as the stereo, and I would sit there and listen, but there were two bands he would always simply play and not blare, one being The Smiths. I guess, it's always nice to hear something simply being played and rather enjoyed. Bands would've normally played something about things that were about living the good life and would talk about things that weren't.... realistic? The smiths, on the other hand, always gave me and my brother(s), a feeling of being able to relax and live in the present rather than dream a ludicrous lifestyle that was never going to happen.

         For years, I would listen to The Smiths thinking that depression, joyful moments and even a reasonable level of self expression/being a rebel was perfectly fine as long as things were manageable and you were wanting that feeling. A feeling they embedded in me was to always be realistic whenever asking or giving anything to society or being there for other people; hell, they even gave me enough courage to sing outloud/in a whisper whenever I felt like it. Their songs gave people company for years, they gave a second chance to people who felt like there was nothing to do.

        The Smiths were another band that have produced more heavy hitters rather than mass producing many songs just to see if any would stick. I even like the cover's by many people doing their songs, simply because their versions are almost as good, if not better.

Beginning Blog Over My Favorite Music and Music To Come.

            I guess, I should start another separate blog rather than jumbling several random articles over several topics into one. This blog can pertain to music I have listened to, would suggest listening to and other things about music.

            I can start with the first song/artist I have been listening to over the passed year and has rather had some impact on me. His name is Joel Zimmerman, more commonly known as "Deadmau5." He produces a wide variety of music which can be narrowed down to "electronic/techno varieties," but I prefer to say dubstep, electric, house, progressive and several others.

            I cannot say Deadmau5 is the most amazing artist out there, but I can say he produces better overall tracks at a constant rate compared to everyone, while at the same time... he acts as himself all day. I'm not trying to start a controversy, but deadmau5 is one of the only artist I have recently seen who puts on the occasional Ustream, plays with "common peoples" on a game called Minecraft every so often and, even then so, he speaks his mind throughout interviews/facebook/twitter (I don't follow it, but the others I glance here and there) without any hesitation to a limited extent. Well, back to the producing better overall material:

       One final word about Deadmau5 is that he has been able to keep an iconic public image with the "Mau5 head" which is starting to get recognition as much as Daft Punk, but the one difference is... we don't know what the Daft Punk Duo truly look like.
